Housing Market API integration guide
The reference tables, endpoint descriptions, error codes and examples are generated from the API specification and stay in English in every language. Names, parameters and codes are identical everywhere.
Overview and tiers
The Housing Market API gives your software read-only access to published property listings from the Housing Market Group portals. Aggregated market insights are coming soon on the Advanced tier.
Every request goes to https://api.housingmarketapi.com over HTTPS, and every response is JSON. All endpoints are read-only: they are all GET requests.
There are two tiers. Both use the same key and the same endpoints for listings.
- Standard: published listings with every property detail described in this guide, for the countries you subscribe to.
- Advanced: everything in Standard, plus the Insights endpoints (search volume, lead volume, prices, property counts, activity levels and third-party market data), coming soon. Advanced customers get Insights on the same key as soon as it launches.
Insights are aggregates. Each value is a count or a median for a place and a period; nothing describes an individual person, lead, agent or listing.
You choose the countries when you subscribe: single countries, a region, or worldwide. You can add countries or upgrade later, and the same key then covers them.
You can pay monthly or annually. The console shows exactly what you will be charged before you confirm, so no prices are quoted in this guide.
Countries are always written as ISO country codes, for example TH for Thailand. The console lists the countries your key covers.
